ChemCentre employs chemists, laboratory technicians, biochemists, food scientists and other related professions. There are also other occupations such as administrative and professional staff in human resources, finance and information services.

Advertised positions generally attract a broad field of applicants. Our emphasis is on the quality of applicants and their demonstrated competencies. In order to assist with the selection process, it has been necessary to set specific requirements for the completion of job applications. A job application will consist of:

  • A completed application form
  • Documentation addressing the selection criteria/functions of the job, or a CV, or both

The process

After lodging your application, you will be notified that it has been received. All applications will be assessed and you may be requested to attend an interview.  It is important that you provide full details of your work experience in your CV so we are easily able to assess your suitability. All unsuccessful applicants will be notified once the selection process has been completed.

Points to remember

  • Applications must be received by the time and closing date given in the advertisement. Late applications cannot be accepted
  • You must be an Australian Citizen, permanent resident or hold an appropriate work visa to apply for employment
  • If you apply for a short term contract position (less than six months) you must be available at short notice
  • CVs in response to advertised positions only pertain to the position for which they are received unless stated otherwise in the advertisement
  • Unsolicited CVs will only be considered for positions of 6 months or less and will be held for up to twelve months after which you will need to reapply
